Tea Junction

An anthology of eight dark short stories. We start with a tale set in the north of Thailand. A new English saleslady has been recruited for international sales. Her boss takes her to a Chinese tea shop in Bangkok and invites her to where the company's leaves flourish. It was too late to discover the reason.

A Thai girl is desperate to witness snow, and her English boyfriend hates the cold. He agrees to take her skiing in Japan. The girl's father has a different idea.

Chas is finding it hard to fit in at his new Thai school. But there is one girl he has his eye on. It must be a prank when the school's prettiest girl wants to be his friend. His life changed when his new female friend knew about Sharon in England. She can't know what happened, can she?

It would be wonderful to be rich and famous in Bangkok. Everyone loves you, and you go to the best parties. But a previous acquaintance finds you fard to forget. And he wants no one to take his place.

Chok Di is intrigued by the package the postman left. Dan is in no rush to open it. Then wishes he hadn't.

Ta is London slang for 'thank you'. He doesn't mean it when sent on a task to write an article about poor folk who sell their children. But he needed that job.

Brian pushed his brother's wheelchair in a Bangkok park until it rained. His brother was determined to stay. Can you hear that?' he asked. 'There is nothing.'
